I rarely ever post work here that isn't mine but this I'll make an exception for. I've been noticing this work pop up again and again. Shen Wei's portraits are spectacular. His environmental portraits have an elegance and a formal quality that resonates. It's quite inspiring to for me, because I struggle with retaining formal beauty while incorporating less formal environments. His series Almost Naked is getting well deserved attention. I do believe his work should have gotten the winning spot under the Personal Work category for the American Photo Images of the Year, alas I'm glad he got in the issue.
