A preview

I've been working on a lot of new things for the past several months and keeping them tucked away until I feel things have been resolved enough to share as a body of work. For now a preview thrown out there with a slight nervous smile.

John Ben, 7th Ward | New Orleans, 2009 from the series The Weight of Air (working title/work in progress)

And from an entirely different new body of work...

228 months from the series Black is the Day, Black is the Night

These are excellent, Amy. The portrait is stunning in its emotional weight.

I know what you mean about being hesitant to show new work until it starts to come together - I'm at that stage right now on several projects, and it makes me feel like publicly I'm doing nothing at all, since I don't want to show any of the new stuff I'm working on - such a conundrum!

Hi, I'm new in comments here, But I just wanted to say the last image looks really interesting - had to flip the lcd screen to find a way to look at it, but i imagined something truly beautiful on paper!

Ps thanks for adding my blog to your links.
