A mini collection contributed to Constance-a small book publication out of New Orleans with the theme: "Replicas and Replacements" These images to me represent the impermanence that is all around us and how one thing/moment/breath/emotion is always replacing the last with something unpredictable. Snapshots allow for a spontaneity that doesn't exist otherwise. I'm fond of things in mid-step/flux.. The way time effects/shapes/disorganizes everything in us and in our environments. This is true of the images presented here and in my daily self-portraits which in the book are going to be on the opposite page.
